In addition to reviewing your work and leadership experience, the admissions board reviews your extracurricular activities, community involvement and military experience (if you served in the military).

You’ll truly get to showcase your skills during the Kellogg School of Management essay process. Two written essays are required. The maximum length for both essays is 450 words.

For the first essay, focus on great challenges that you have faced as a leader and what you did to overcome the challenges. For the second essay, focus on how you have grown in the past and how you expect to grow after you earn a Kellogg Business School MBA.

In addition to written essays, you’ll also submit two video essays. You have up to a minute to answer video essay questions. But, don’t worry. There are 10 practice video questions that you can work on before you submit your final two video essays.

Two recommendations letters are required. Make sure that one of the letters is from your current supervisor. A previous supervisor is a good choice when it comes to who should write your second recommendation letter.

Both recommendation letters are submitted online. On campus and off campus interviews are conducted. You can expect on campus interviews to last 30 to 45 minutes.
